Appealing the Publication Decision

The Editor would initially (desk review stage) determine whether a manuscript is suitable for consideration in the RHR.

The editor's decision to reject the manuscript is not eligible for a formal appeal. However, suppose rejection comes after the peer review process, and the author(s) believe that the editor's decision was based on an error. In that case, they may file a formal appeal against the rejection decision. The author(s) must write a letter and communicate their grievance.

Suppose the author(s) believe that a publication ethics breach has affected the decision to reject the manuscript. In that case, the author(s) may contact the Editor with a detailed written description of the concern and the relevant information supporting the matter.
